Privacy Policy

CopItCar (“we”, “us”) is operated by CopIt AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the CopItCar mobile app and website, why we collect it, and your rights over it. We are the data controller for this data.
What we collect
Name and email address — To create and secure your account, and to send service emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset, deal alerts you opt into).
Postcode and search areas — To find and rank vehicle listings near you. We never collect precise GPS location.
Subscription and purchase history — To unlock the features of your plan and manage your subscription.
Account and device identifiers — Your account ID, and a push notification token if you enable notifications, so we can deliver deal alerts to your device.
Content you create in the app — Your alert rules, watchlist and deal tracker entries, so the app can do what you ask it to.
Everything above is used solely to provide the service (our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you). We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers to run CopItCar. They process data on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes:
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing (we never see your card details)
• Expo — push notification delivery
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google Cloud — application hosting
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise any right, email support@copit.app from your registered address.
Account deletion
Email support@copit.app with the subject “Delete my account” and we’ll delete your account and data within 30 days.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update the date above and notify you in the app.
